Step 0: Get your MCP URL

Your MCP URL is unique to your account. You'll find it in your MyStorey dashboard after logging in. You'll need this URL for all AI clients below.

  1. 1Log in at claude.ai
  2. 2Go to Settings → Integrations (or the MCP panel in the left sidebar)
  3. 3Click "Add integration" or "Add MCP server"
  4. 4Paste your MCP URL: https://mystorey.io/mcp
  5. 5Claude will redirect you to MyStorey to authorize — log in and click "Allow"
  6. 6Return to Claude and verify the connection: “Show me my sites”

  1. 1Enable Developer mode in ChatGPT settings: Settings → Beta features → Developer mode
  2. 2Open the model picker or go to your custom instructions → "Custom connectors"
  3. 3Click "Add connector" → choose "MCP"
  4. 4Paste your MCP URL: https://mystorey.io/mcp
  5. 5Complete OAuth authorization on the MyStorey page
  6. 6Start a new chat and verify: “List my MyStorey sites”

  2. 2Look for "MCP" or "Custom connector" option (availability may vary by plan)

  1. 1Add a new MCP server in your client's settings
  2. 2Set the URL to: https://mystorey.io/mcp
  3. 3Set auth type to OAuth 2.0
  4. 4Complete authorization — you will be redirected to MyStorey to log in and allow access

Troubleshooting

  • Connection failed:Make sure you are logged into MyStorey first and that cookies are enabled in your browser.
  • Tools not showing:Disconnect and reconnect the integration. Clear your browser cache and try again.
  • OAuth error:Make sure your MCP URL is exactly https://mystorey.io/mcp with no trailing slash.
